STANDARD FEATURES

Gauge Tables - built in 10 feet modules which have footstops on one foot centres. Normal pass height is 48 inches. We also offer metric gauge tables with stops every half metre.

Discharge Bins - can be on either side or both sides of the gauge tables. Bin assembly spacing allows bars as short as five feet to be discharged at up to 48 different bin locations.

Preload Tables - built in 10 feet modules are available with one or two storage areas on one or both sides with a five ton capacity per storage area.

Conveyor Rolls - are easily removed for maintenance. The rolls are constructed of heavy wall steel tube, are motorized and have rubberized roller sleeves having excellent wear and sound deadening features.

Manual control station, to preform the following operations - raise stops, inch control, stop-start conveyor, select bin location and discharge material. Five Station programable controller optional.

Preload controls for the drop arm and conveyor rolls can be operated from the shakeout platform.

The system’s modular construction is such that all necessary brackets etc. are built-in for future additions including left or right discharge.

OPTIONAL FEATURES

Imperial or metric systems available. Additional stock storage levels available to increase preload table capacity to 20 tons. Modular design permits the addition of many components such as guage table or conveyor sections to 60 feet (18 metres). bin assemblies or loading sections.

Shearline has been designed to meet the present and future needs of the Reinforcing Steel Fabrication Industry.

Working with our associates MEP Group, we have designed and built an efficient, rugged and economical
shearline system. Its modular design permits the addition of various components to expand the system as required.

The criteria which we followed in the design and construction of this system was that it should reduce the man hours per ton sheared and that the amount of human effort should be kept to the minimum. That the mechanical, pneumatics and electrical design uses components of proven performance and “off the shelf” availability. The design is as clean and open as possible, making it simple to maintain. We have tried to keep in mind the rigorous working conditions that exist in reinforcing steel plants.
